Microplastics in our Tap Water?

Updated: May 1, 2023

Microplastics are small particles of plastic of less than 5 mm in size, some invisible to the human eye, that can be found in almost everything that we consume.

Regarding water contamination, there have been numerous scientific studies done and it is now known that 84% of all the tap water in the world contains a high number of micro and nano plastic. Out of these, the worst is the US, with 94% of all their tap water being contaminated.

The situation is alarming since it has been found that an average person will consume up to an extreme of 5 grams of microplastics a week - which is equal to the size of a credit card! Yes, you read that right - a credit card a week!

The best way to remove these particles is by using a reverse osmosis system since its filtration is 0.0001 microns.

We at Serenity Water Systems offer you the best in quality, technology, and prices.
